Rolley gave us 13 years of loving memories and filled our lives with joy. Rolley was given to my son Chris when he was 4 and Rolley was 8 weeks old. I picked him out of a Dalmatian litter of 6, he was one of two liver spotted. He was the chubbiest one and reminded me of Rolley Polley on the 101 Dalmatian movie. I guess you could say he picked us out. He came over and untied my shoe string, so I knew he was the one for our family. He was there through hard times in our lives. Another baby came and he fully accepted him. Ten years ago he adopted my new husband. My husband did not realize Rolley would be his best friend. Another baby came and Rolley hung in there. He was great with all three boys and any children. Last July, Rolley became ill with cancer and his arthritis had worsened. He was so tough for the family. Until two weeks ago and he looked at me and it was as if he said enough was enough. One of the fondest memories at Christmas with Rolley was him laying in his favorite place under the Christmas tree as you see in the picture, just days before he was at peace. Another memory at Christmas that I missed was wrapping presents. I would roll the paper out and he would step on it then lay down, not much wrapping got done. Our family was truly blessed to have Rolley in our lives for 13 years and we miss him very much. We are so thankful to have him in our lives for so long. We know one day we will see him again. God Bless you Rolley and we love you!!! Joe, Millie, Chris, Brett and Justin, Mom Mom and Pop Pop.
