Redgee will be missed by my wife and I. He was a miniature dacschund (red) and was the most affectionate little guy. We have one of his sisters (from the same litter) and she is missing him immensely. We also have another miniature dachshund and she is 12 1/2 years old. We will all miss him. He hurt his back and became paralyzed. We definitely did not want to see him suffer any longer and had to let him go.

One thing about Redgee was that he always wanted to be kissed on the cheek when we arrive home from anywhere. He would not go out unless he had some affection. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet.

He was a big part of our life and he will be greatly missed by all including our neighbors who also agree he was a good dog.

Personal Notes

Our hearts go out to you on the loss of your very handsome dachshund, Redgee (cool name!). What a good looking dog! Our Grindle, who we just lost several weeks ago would have adored him. We understand what you are going through and offer our condolences to Redgee's family and friends who must be heartbroken. God bless you from one Doxie family to another.

I am so sorry about your loss. What a cute little guy! It just literally breaks your heart when they go. They give us so much! Rejoice in happy memories of him and remember one day you will be reunited at the Rainbow Bridge!

If it is that I grow weak. And pain should keep me from my sleep. Then you must do what must be done, for this the last battle can't be won. You will be sad I understand, but don't let this then stay your hand. For this day more than the rest your love and friendship stand the test. Take me where my needs they'll tend but please stay with me until the end. Just hold me firm and speak to me until my eyes no longer see. Although my tail will no longer wave from pain and suffering I've been saved.
