A tribute to Fluffy Adams, 21 yrs old. May she rest in peace in the "Heaviside Layer." I will always remember: • when dad first brought you home – seeing a small black/white fuzz in a big ol’ cardboard box. • you almost delivering your five boys in Grandma’s dresser drawer. • when I "trimmed" your whiskers (not knowing this should never be done, but you didn't seem to mind). • when you “lived” on the roof at the old house on New Moon Rd, often taking naps on top of the chimney. • when the upstairs bathroom was under construction and you snuck inside the drywall and got lost - I could hear your meow echoes all around the house. • you sitting on the stairs and ratting me out whenever I stayed out past “curfew”. • your gator-like meow. • your chicken-rice cravings like a true Cajun cat. • your loud purring. • you biting my hair/head to "play". • “wake up” calls. • “change the litter box” calls. • your eyelashes. • you. You were my best friend. And I will greatly miss you. "With their qualities of cleanliness, discretion, affection, patience, dignity, and courage, how many of us, I ask you, would be capable of becoming cats?" - Fernand Mery Her Majesty the Cat
