I got Zack when he was about 6 weeks old. The first time I saw him, it was love at first sight. His piercing blue eyes and furry hair made my heart melt. He was a very shy cat, hiding from all but showed me show much love and affection. As a kitten, he never left my side, always snuggling with me on the couch and end of my bed which continued until has last days. He loved playing hide and seek and could dribble a ball with his paws the length of my apartment. He would wake me up every morning ready for breakfast and the start of his day. His absolute favorite “people” food was Spanish Olives. I never knew why but he would go crazy over them. We moved in February of this year and he had access to an outdoor patio and spent his last summer laying in the sun and chasing bugs. He never got tired of sitting in the window looking at the outside world. He was diagnosed with cancer in September and lost his battle Oct. 26th. He died peacefully in his own home. Even when he was miserable, he still showed me so much love and affection until the end. He is greatly missed and will always hold a special place in my heart. I know he isn't suffering any more and is in a better place soaking up the beauty, chasing bugs and laying in a field of catnip. You will forever be in my heart and I will always treasure the memories I had with you. I know we will meet again. Love your Mommy.
