It's so hard to tell all the attributes and story of our dear Beethoven's life here in a paragraph. We hoped to have her with us as long as we lived,of course it doesn't work that way. We are so happy to have had Beethoven in our lives,she was a month short of being 13 years old. She was a mixed sheltie dog an d so beautiful. She protected her little puppy brothers and sisters when she was born,so my husband gave her a nickname of Horsefly,cause she was a little fighter, but oh so loving. We began to know she wouldn't be with us long,because she developed a bad heart 3 years ago,and cataracts in both eyes. She was on meds.doing fairly well,untill she got a dental abcess 2 weeks before she died. Then a day before she passed ,she had an awful stroke,nothing more could be done,so we took her home from vet to die at home with her family.We were with her as she passed from us to dog heaven. We cry and miss her so much. This is so hard on her family, I know we will make it through this with God's help.
