Zeus was a big strong Blonde Golden Retreiver. Zeus was smart, loving, perky, playful and a big part of our family. He loved to chew on his raw hide bones until they were gone. Sometimes when he didn't have a bone he ate my socks and didn't feel well until he passed them. He would love to nudge your arm with his snout to get your attention. He especially loved it when Grammy was in town. They were good buddies. Zeus really loved Chad. Chad would always feed him and then take him for a run. Zeus would come home exhausted. Chad recently left for college and Zeus really missed him. I think that's when things with Zeus worsened. Zeus would do anything for a doggie treat. He would sit, speak, give you his paws, lay down, roll over and fetch. He was one of a kind and we miss him every day. He was very sick when he died but you would not have known it by his personality. He wagged his tail until his soul left for doggie heaven. He is in a better place now hopefully with family members who proceeded him to the pearly gates. We love you Zeus and pray that you are in eternal rest. We love and miss you, Ann, Neil, Chad, Cody and Grammy
