Nutty has had a very long life. He was purchased at a small mall pet store in Greensburg, PA by my Dad in Dec 1995. We named him Nutmeg because it was around Christmas time and eggnog and nutmeg, you get it. Nutty lived amongst my three other siblings, Charis, Jon, and Joe, my mom, stepfather, and I. In 2000 he moved to Pittsburgh with me while I was in school. Then on to Allison Park where he was great friends with Heather, Trish, Josh, Jeanette, Harley, and Kaya. Three years later moved to West View and then just about a month ago made a 12 hour moving trip to Chicago from Pitsburgh.  He was doing better than ever. He still loved to jump up for treats and hide out in his igloo. His favorite pals were Alyssa, Aaron, Adam, and Ava. They would take care of him when I was out of town. He had numerous pet siblings over the years but none lived as long as nutty.  He survived two attacks: by a nasty neighborhood cat "arthur" and a hawk in allison park that thought he'd make a good lunch.  That hawk didn't know he was the eternal bunny. He will be greatly missed.
