Our Pinky the Min Pin (Miniature Pinscher). We named her so because she was soooo tiny when my dad brought her home. She could easily fit into our palms. She was the smallest of the lot. But packed into that little tiny body, was a BIG spirit. She was the baby to my parents and a baby sister to me and my brother. We call her baby Pinky most of the time. Despite being very stubborn and snappy due to her possesive nature, she was very bright, loyal, dedicated, animated, amusing and she loved all of us unconditionally. She was our little own "doorbell" as she would alert us if there's anyone at the gate. She loved to eat KFC and whenever she wanted attention, she would lie her head down on the ground between her paws and jut her butt up in a very cute posture. She liked to prance and she would "talk" and complain to us in her own doggie way when we come back from work because she was alone in the house and she missed our company. She was feisty and full of curiosity. She developed cataracts and turned blind as she got older but she was still alert to any foreign sound. Due to her old age and unstable condition, we lost her to pyometra after the surgery. She was our first pet and would be our last as the pain of losing a beloved pet is too much for our family to bear. We took her back from the vet and buried her under a tree on a hill in front of our house. We wanted her final resting place to be as close to us as posible. We miss her terribly and she will always be the baby Pinky in our hearts. To Pinky : "mommy, daddy, che-che and ko-ko will never forget or stop loving you even after you're gone...you will always remain close to our hearts."
