I forgot that one day I'd be setting you free

you came into my life as a big suprise

you jumped up on many laps

you always found a place to nap





when you made a friend you made one for life

with kisses and hugs and cuddles soo tight

altho you found mischief around every wall

you always knew home would be your call



I love how stubborn you used to be

I loved when I was talking you were listening to me

I'll miss giving you baths and you looking like a rat

I'll miss it when you lay down on my legs at night

I'll miss you waiting til I get home,

but I know it's your time to rest
