My precious China Blue was an exceptional creature loved so deeply and dearly.

China found me in the backyard of my grandmother's home in Providence, RI on Columbus Day, 1989. We were inseperable. A connection and match made in heaven and forever.

Beautiful China Blue was my life line, as we spent almost two decades together. I can't believe that I haven't died of a broken heart from missing her. If there is a heaven, then my beloved China Blue is there waiting for me to join her someday.

Dear China,

You stayed a year longer in this world when you didn't have to. You held on so long because you loved me and I needed you.

Thank you for adopting me on that memorable fall day. You always made me so happy.

I can not see or hear you, but your presence is inside me and your name is written inside my broken heart.

Love, Mommy.

I missed you today, but Mommy got mad at me.
I was biting your container of ashes and made dent marks on it. Then, I grabbed the bag of yours ashes and started to run off with it. I just wanted to play with you again. Love Kitt.

Hi Donna, I just read your China memorial. I'm still wiping the tears from my eyes. I'm so sorry for all your losses. I wish I had some magic words to make you feel better but I can only tell you what you already know...China had a long and wonderful life with you and it was much longer than most kitties. And you know that she is no longer suffering.-April

Donna, the memorial is a beautiful way to remember her. I know losing a pet is almost more painful than a person because people are never as devoted and loving as pets are. They are by your side always through thick and thin, good and bad and I am really sorry for your loss. There is a book that might help you a little: Goodbye, Friend: Healing Wisdom for Anyone Who Has Ever Lost a Pet by Gary Kowalski.

God bless her always loved that name. I have been toying with taking Mandarin Language all joking aside and I will dedicate it to her. I love mine and feel devastated to think of your face and Mom's if she should lose a cat or when you lost yours I am so sorry. God gives you only what you can handle and if he gives you more he will help.
Take care
Paul
