What a little screw-worm! Little Emily was a stubborn soul with a heart of fire. She was brought home with her sister Gabby and together, they started the "Pomeranian Revolution" in the family. We will all miss Emi Girl, but are thankful for all the years she was with us.

Personal Notes

Lady Ember of Autumn Star (AKC Name) will forever live in our hearts. We were blessed to have such a loving little girl for such a long time. Our tears will fade, but our memory of her will last forever.

Emily was my first "baby". I will never forget when her teeth used to get stuck from attacking the other dogs. If Emily could talk, she would have many stories to tell because she lived such a long, happy life. She may have passed on, but she will never leave our hearts.

Do not stand at my grave
and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the
morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines
at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.
From the family of Phoebe who passed over 6/6/2007.

We wish to thank MAPLE SPRINGS VETERINARY CLINIC for the flowers and the card they sent. Their care of our little girl Emily the past seven years has been one of the reasons she lived such a long and healthy life. Dr. Davis and his wife have shown us that they truely care, and have treated us (both pets and humans) like members of their extended family.

The first little dog that ever stole my heart will be missed.

Three months have past and I still miss my little girl. I have extended her memorial today (10/7/07) for another year as I could not let this memorial go away quite yet. Those who read this and love their dogs as much as I understand why this is necessary. Thanks to all who have visited and added a personal note.

As the year ends I still miss my little Emily girl. She and her sister Gabby will remain forever in my heart. 2008 will bring many changes for me, but it will never change how much I miss them.

We have moved to Kentucky and Emily would have liked the new home. Her sisters (all 10 of them) are making the adjustment, however we miss our little girl still. 9 months have passed since we lost her and we still talk about all the things she did that gave us such joy. We shall always love her.
