Apollo was my friend for four years. I got Apollo from a local humane society. It was love at first sight. Apollo was a brown greyhound. Apollo would sleep at the foot of my bed every night. I never understood why he wouldn't sleep under the covers with my dog scruffy,or on the kitchen floor with my dog shiloh. Apollo's favorite time of day was breakfast. Every morning i would cook bacon just for him. We were inseperatable until that one morning. I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock wondering why Apollo didn't wake me up. I looked for Apollo everwhere,but he was no where to be found. Three days after Apollo went missing I got a call from my neighbor. He said that his wife found Apollo laying by their cow pasture barely breathing, so she rushed him to the vet. I then rushed to the animal clinic. She walked up to me imediatly with foggy eyes and said that she thought he was still alive,but the vet proved her wrong. I broke down and cried. I didn't sleep any that night or eat anything the next day. I miss you so much Apollo!!!! You left paw prints on my heart.
