Often naughty but always loved, Danny was a great little guy to have around. We will miss him so much. Feel free to add any funny Danny stories or comments here as we are so sad today.
Personal Notes

Sheila, Greg and Layla,
We are so sorry for your loss. I am glad that we got to know little Dan before he left this earth. We'll never forget when Cindy saved him from choking on a chicken bone at Thanksgiving or for the generosity Dan showed when Darby had to stay with you for Christmas 2005! We'll miss him and are thinking of you at this sad time.

We are so sorry to hear the news. Our collective heart is breaking for you. No matter how rational (having an explanation for death such as disease), the pain of loosing a pet is immeasurable. As we know that there's nothing we can say at this time to ease the pain, we are sending you all the love, hugs and kisses in the world, and hope that Dan is playing with Sprout (Lee's old dog), and all the other happy pets up in doggie heaven...

We love you.

Who can forget the infamous Danny stalker episode. Young Dan was admired in all his tiny greatnest by a soon-to-be terry track suit mogul. The next day her husband went to the same Beverly Center pet store and purchased a not quite as tiny Yorkie for her as an anniversary gift....they promtly named him Dan! Danny 2 went on to be photographed in the glossies but we all know who the original, one and only, Danny was.

We will all miss the little mite. All my love.

My Dear Kids, I was so sorry to hear about Danny. I know it must be so hard. He was part of you all. I'm glad for you that you made it home in time though. I think that helps, knowing you were there with him. He was a real cutie! I will miss him too! It won't be the same but time does heal. It really does. Much love and hugs to you all.

Dizzy and I will miss Sgt. Taffy very much. Even now, Dizzy goes up to every small dog he meets, hoping that one of them will be Dan -- without Dan to tell him what to do, how will he know?

That Dan, he never did grow. In heaven he is as big as a lion.

Oh Sheila & Greg - I am so sorry! No wonder I've been thinking about Dan. He just kept popping into my head & I was thinking about how cute he was - standing there, barking, trying to be all tough but looking so cute! I remember visiting & your telling me that Dan just sort of bossed you guys around - demanded to be taken care of!
Oh, he will be so missed - my heart goes out to you guys - I know he was with you a long time, Sheila - I'm so sorry.

Shiela, I remember the day you went to the store to buy a new dress and you came back with Dan. He was so tiny. And we put him by the fire and since it was near St. Patrick's Day and he look like a Dan, it was decided -- he was Dan -- Danny Boy. Since then, he has been such big part of our lives for such a little dog. He and Darby grew up together and stayed home together when we were hard at work in the go-go nineties. He was our family and I will miss him very much.
