Boo was our nick name for Little Britches. Boy, he sure loved to eat and play as king of the castle. Being our protector was all he ever really knew.

He use to sit up on the couch and look at everyone as if he ruled the house. In a way he did rule the house because he made sure to let all the other dogs know that he was the boss.

He always watched over all of us. If a stranger came up and meant to do harm Boo would be right there ready to defend to us. His presence was well known and it was a presence i'll never forget.

I remember his first steps, how his cute big ole body would flop down on the floor, and most of all how much he loved us. To say the words that he's gone makes my heart fill with sadness. Fore, i always thought he'd be there.

He passed away in a fire that killed him and our two other dogs. To be left with nothing but, a big hole in your heart is only a mere way to describe how you feel.

I miss you Boo. I always hoped i would be the one to die before you did. But, life didn't want it to work out that way. Some day though, i'll be next to you again.
