Buffy was a very loving, affectionate, friend.I was so excited the night I went to go with my parents to get my dog, I remember first seeing him in his cage and I knew after spending a few moments with him he was the right dog for me. I remember walking him in the park a few days after I got him and how cute everyone said he was and he really was the cutest little puppy. Buffy also liked when dad would give him peanut butter or yogurt those were his favorites, and any chance he would get when grandma wasnt looking he would steal her whole sandwich she had just made for lunch, he loved to eat :) He loved to just cuddle up to you at night and sleep by your feet and he also had a cute doggie snore. In his younger years he was a very active dog loved to chase squirrels or birds in his view, and if two people were having a conversation he would tend to get a little jealous and start barking :) but he always got plenty of attention. I will miss My Dog Buffy very much he was taken to suddenly from my family and I and we will miss him. One day we will meet again my buddy and we will cross the rainbow bridge together. Love Jennifer A Buffy Poem By David Church (Dad) Buffy would leap through the air when time for a walk Always made his desires known although he couldn't talk Followed you around wherever you went And wherever he'd go his uncanny nose would pick up a scent He'd sleep like a baby snoring all the while But with ears attentive and one eye open He wanted to make sure you didn't sneak off to the kitchen He chased squirrels away and left birds alone His favorite snack was a real live meat bone He'd sleep in your bed if you gave him a chance And he wouldn't budge even if you gave him a tough glance Dog treats he loved and would never get full And if you tried to take one away, he'd act like a mad bull Whenever you came home, off Buffy would go with such great haste He grabbed one of his toys hoping you would give chase Food, food, please more food It would always perk up his mood When you ate your food you had to watch out or Buffy would grab it with his canine snout Sometimes he played by running around and he tried his best not to be caught All your efforts to catch him would end in naught The house was his, he protected it always even in the dark He warned passers-by with his very loud bark Two people couldn't talk in his presence; he seemed to want everyone's attention I think he was jealous if I forgot to mention Watching people eat made him sad Until he got some food for himself which made him glad Buffy had such beautiful hair, which he wore with such flair And if you just look around you can find some almost anywhere Buffy was a beautiful creation of God, such a great gift He always gave everyone such a great lift We all wish we had more time with him just a little more But the time we spent with him we all did adore Buffy so pretty so gentle so friendly and kind His spirit is still with us and we will remember him till the end of time.
