Bosco was a gift to my husband, I remember the day he got him.  The cutest chocolate lab puppy wearing a bandana around his neck.  He was such a joy for the next 12 years -so intelligent and eager to learn.  Although a great watch dog, he was gentle with people who had the good fortune to meet him, from the youngest child to the oldest adult.  A water lover, and great swimmer - Bosco thought the pools were specifically for his enjoyment. His favorite "game" to play was fetch, and whoever played that with him got more tired throwing the toy than he got retrieving it. Although we are heartbroken that he has left us, the 12 years of joyous memories will be a comfort to us.

Bosco was such a Good Boy..Loved to Fetch and Swim..I got the pleasure for many years of being his Sitter and enjoyed our times together out Back and in the Pool..What a Well Mannered,Loving and Loyal Dog he was..He will be Sadly Missed..BUT,Had a Good,Long Life!

We're going to miss that big bear! Our visits to Florida just won't be the same. A real sweetheart , the most lovable choclate lab ever!

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.

Thank you for the lovely note you left on Phoebes page. Maybe sometime in the future wee will take another pet. But at the moment, emotions in our house are still very raw even after eight months. I have all the time in the world for people like you who love and look after these wonderful animals. And i'm sure Bosco and Phoebe are playing chase as we speak.
