Izzy was my all time favorite of all my cats. I have had cats my entire life & I truly loved them all, but Izzy was my baby. I had him for 17 years, he was 1/2 bobcat & 1/2 domestic, weighed 32 lbs at his healthiest. He was the sweetest kitty, when I was down or crying, he would sit by my head & pet me with his paw the way I would pet him as cat. I would tell him to 'head butt' someone, or 'body slam' someone to show affection & he always did. He was very sweet & very smart & if someone 'bad' was around, he would let me know it, I always knew who I could trust just by watching his behaviour. He was the runt of his litter, but was a big boy nonetheless, he ws an orange striped, Garfield, looking kitty, with a big heart..unless you were a smaller animal or reptile, then he was a predator. It made me sad that he killed my 2 parakeets & ate my entire 18 inch iguana, but I never got mad at him cause I knew he was just acting on his daddies instincts..(daddy was the bobcat)...he had a growth in his sinus cavity & was diagnosed with an infection. He was on antibiotics for 4 months until I realized he was misdiagnosed & the cancer was discovered. Taking him in to be put to sleep was like losing a child to me, I will forever love & miss him. He was my baby........Always love ya buddy
