You were the sweetest, gentlest dog, you loved everyone and everything. But not as much as you loved that damn ball! Nobody loved to play ball more than our Max! But cruel time finally took its toll upon him, and we had to say our goodbyes to one of our most loved and faithful companions. We sit here with a large aching hole in our heart-Thank you Max for the love you've given to us these past years. I'm sorry you had to go. Rest in peace my baby.
We'll love & miss you forever

2/21/2007 I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling. Having recently lost 2 of my "kids", Sweet Pea and Elvis, I know how much it hurts. Max was a beautiful dog and looks so gentle in his picture. It sounds as though you both of you were so blessed to have had one another.

Max i love and miss you so much, luckily all dogs go to heaven and i know that you're in good hands. You were such a good boy and the cutest dog anyone has ever seen. I think about you all the time and you will never be forgotten. Millions of kisses and much love Max.

For it is by muteness that a dog becomes for one so utterly beyond value; with him one is at peace where words play no torturing tricks. When he just sits loving and knowing that he is being loved, those are the moments I think are precious to a dog; when, with his adoring soul coming through his eyes,he feels that you are really thinking of him.
