Bruiser Boy was our beloved family pet.  He was a bassett/beagle mix.  He was my husband and my first puppy.  Bruiser was the only living puppy from my Bassett hound that I had as a pet when I was a child.  Bruiser was a very loving dog and my little girl loved him as much as we do.  He was the most beautiful dog and reminded me so much of his mommy who passed a few years ago. I'll always remember bruiser curling up in my husbands sweaters when he was a pup.  As long as he was curled up in my husbands arms he knew he as safe and sound. Bruiser use to play ball with my little girl and they got along great. Bruiser felt good and never had any health problems and then last night (1-31-07), my husband went to check on him and found him dying.  We think he had a heart attack or a stroke.  My family and I will always cherish the time we had with him and we will remember and love him always.  May God Bless you Bruiser and I know I'll see you again someday. I hope you will play and run in those beautiful green grasses in the sky. We love you Bruiser.
