K-9 Ace was an incredible drug dog for the Gulf breeze Police Department in Gulf Breeze, Florida. His resume' was impressive, but he meant more to us than just being a working dog. We had him with us for six years. He took up more than half the bed and snored like a sailor. Known for digging his nose into the garbage can and once eating a whole pot roast (while we weren't watching) and a whole birthday cake. He must have thought we cooked all that for him. He knew his commands and followed them. He loved to play ball. If we were ever in the pool he would jump in with the excitement of a kid and do a big belly flop. For being a police dog, he hated loud noises(firecrackers made him come unglued) Good thing he wasn't ever around any gunshots:o) He loved his family and both of his handlers. His best friend, Baylen, passed away exactly a year ago and I am sure they are together now. We love and miss you Ace...you will always be in our hearts.
