She was 16 and a half years old, over half my age. She was a tiny runt who beat all the odds and outlived all the other pets we've had. She was beautiful, tiny, sweet, and fussy. She hated children, and hissed at other cats, but would curl up with me whenever I was sad. She purred like a freight train and couldn't meow more than a squeak.
