I believe that God created pets such as Mickey as an expression of what unconditional love means. Mickey was constantly by my side and loved us no matter what. He patiently faced his senior years and suffered silently the physical trials that would be expected. Yet, never once did he whimper, yelp, or cry. Instead he always waited for the time when he could be with us. It was more important than anything else with him. We will always love him and consider him not only a member of the family, but most importantly, our dearest and most loyal friend. Sadly, we say good-bye for now. But we believe that he's somewhere still waiting for the time when he can be with us again. And Mickey; we believe that time will come sometime in the future. But for now, we will still love your deep dark eyes, and the cute way you would wiggle your tail in joy when you would see us. There has never been another Dog that could compare with you. Say hello to your brother Maxwell for us. We love you both so very much.
