Ru was born October 24th of 1995, a year to the day after we had to let our 1st girl go do to a major illness.  From the beginning I had a feeling it was Koshi in a smaller package. Koshi had been wonderful ~ Ru had many of the same personality traits and as she matured into my beautiful bear so much more.



We got her at seven weeks of age; she rode home sprawled out on my chest.  At seventeen pounds she was a mega-pup and I had a feeling she would be a big girl; especially for an Akita.



For the next eleven years she was my constant companion, adventuremate, friend and counselor.  If I was ever sad or hurt she was there ALWAYS ~ We had so much fun and love together.  I am so lost without her, I don't know what to do.

What a beautiful girl, I am so sorry about your loss. Our pets love us unconditionally and our heartbreak at their passing is inconsolable. Thanks for directing me here to see her.

I know how much you loved her and how much you miss her. She was your wonderful friend and constant companion. You were so blessed to have her love while she was here. I am sure she is waiting for you, and one day you will look into her big eyse and see her smile once again.
