Two nights ago, we lost our beautiful Diablo in a tragic accident.  



I can't believe it's only been seven years ago since we went out looking for a cat to be our lovely companion. I wanted a persian and my husband wanted a Siamese, so we ended up with a little compromise by getting them both.  We just fell in love with Diablo and Fluffy as soon as saw them together!  Ironically though, I ended up getting more attached to Diablo.  He was such a tough cat, refused to sit on my lap the first four years we had him, and forget about carrying him, that was out of the question.  Things had to be done his way or no way at all! What a great personality he had!!!! 



It took years to get him to like me equally back, he was one of those cats where you had to earn his love and affection.  Once he warmed up to us, he never left me out of his sight.  He followed me everywhere around the house meowing all the way, always wanting to play or eat, he was a bit heavy for a siamese, but i still love him.  I guess that's why we got along so well, we both always thought of food before anything else......  



I am going to miss his 5 am wake up calls, rubbing his cute nose against mine, trying so hard to tell me that it's time for me to get up and give him his breakfast and give him all my attention.  He was so lively, had a great personality, a real character with gorgeous big blue eyes, and always ready to play.



Hope you are in a better place Diablo, we will miss you dearly...... You brought a lot of happy moments to our lives.  Fluffy will miss you as well....
