Cinnamon was a gentle, loving English Field Setter, with Cinnamon color on half of her face, mixed with chocolate. The other half was white with cinnamon spots. She was the prettiest English Setter I ever saw.She loved to run in her back yard and watch the birds from her Doggie lounge. She pointed beautifully, from the beginning, birds, squirrels, whatever came within sight.
She was a little escape artist, finding ways to get gates and doors open.We could never out smart her,try as we might.
Katie was 3 when we brought Cinnamon Rose home at 7 weeks old. They both went into her crate and fell asleep watching Star Wars. They were "PUPS" together.Katie had a very soothing effect on Cinnamon,so we tried to take Katie whenever Cinnamon had to go to the Vet.
We felt she caught the spirit of our first English Setter,Babe, but was her own dog.She had 2 friends,Simba and Brandi, and her very own rabbit in her den, which she shared with Dale. She had a way of "talking to us",letting us know what a tough time she had waiting for us to come home. We'd say,"Tell us all about it."and she would. She loved playing with her many toys, but she had her favorites. She loved tossing her ball and played by herself when there was no one to toss it for her.At night she loved to just hang with us.
Right now it hurts so much to even write about our beloved little girl. But I want everyone to remember her.She was only here for 7 years. But she'll be forever in our hearts.
We tried so hard to get her well. But her body couldn't fight anymore. It was the hardest thing we had to do,when we had to make the decision to let her go.We told her we loved her and that Babe was waitng for her.She kept looking up at the bare wall above us,as if she saw something.I believe she saw her Angel, who had come to help her reach the Rainbow Bridge.I told her to run and play again, and to wait for us till we get there.God Bless Our Precious Cinnamon Rose.
