Maxie found me at the human shelter in 1997, mom grieved my dads passing and Maxie was her best friend. He was stubborn and had a side that was to be delt with only because someone miss treated him. Over the years Maxie gave unconditional love and took great care in protecting mom and I. he acted like a kitten to us and never let a man betweem mom and and any man. He was the man of the house. When no one was there maxie purred and loved, licked gently and was such a soft sole.

Maxie had seizures and they became more frequent. On hios death he asked to be let go, I on the other hand wanted so much for him to be well. I chose to say good-bye and let him go peacefully. Over the years he raised Samual who know wears his collar with great pride but sadness. Sam and I and belle miss him deeply.
