It is so difficult to put into words how this child affected my life. For 15 years, he was by my side. He was my first child and I loved him with the burning of a thousand suns.
He walked into my life through his Grandma. He was playful, strong, proud, independent and loving. As he grew, I let him explore the outside world. He would bring me presents and lay them on the front step. I would thank him for the loving gift. He roamed the apartments looking for all of the pretty ladies. When he found them, he would prance with his tail straight up in the air. He loved the attention but he always came home. No matter where we moved, his MO was always the same. I would soon find out that the pretty ladies thought he was homeless and would feed him. The boy truly had game!
His brothers, Frank,(arriving first), Phoenix (Second), then Phoenix passed in January of this year, Alex (Third) and Sean (Fourth) were an irritant to him. He was the only Lord of the Manor for so long, he was not happy about the company. He got used to the action and continued to come home every night to sleep with Mom.I worried constantly when he was outside. It was like having a teenage human (God forbid)...
His favorite things were: Vaseline, chicken, drinking from the faucet, licking water from the shower and looking at pretty ladies.
When he passed, he took my heart with him. He is now with his Aunt Rhonda,Chris, Phoenix, Zoe, Snowflake, Tigger, Muffin, Romeo, Esprit, Zena, Sunny, Angel, Blazer, Fred, Momma Cat, Penny, and the many others that were close to my heart. Mommie loves you Lindsey, I will miss you forever.
