Charlie came into our lives in November of 1998, just 8 weeks old.  He was the most feisty little dog, and so smart.  He was a member of our family, we loved him with all our hearts.  He developed mast cell tumor 8 months ago, and the day came that we had prayed would never- we had to put Charlie down.  He was not ready mentally, he still had so much life in him but the cancer was literally eating him alive.  I have been crying for 2 days and feel like the pain will never ease.  We love you so much, Charlie.  I hope to see you again someday and hug you and love you.  This pain is unbearable.
