Dallas was a devoted, protective, fun-loving,spirited and energetic blue heeler  mix, and one of the greatest loves of my life.  My husband and I will never forget how she loved to jump up atop her doghouse and sit up there, with her front legs crossed like a regular little lady.  Her best friend was my other dog Hondo, who she'd always adored. If Hondo was getting a bath, Dallas would whimper in sympathy for him, and vice- versa.  Whenever Hondo barked, she'd bark;she was always emmulating him like he was her hero. She was always cheerful, and even in her last moments, she looked at us with eyes full of love, as she always had...we'll will miss our sweet and crazy girl so very much.  I sometimes sang her to sleep with  "You Are the Sunshine of my life," and she truly was a ray of sunshine in our life.
