I am sad to report that we lost Lucy on August 15, 2006. We were blessed that Lucy lived over 13 years, but were still not prepared for her to be gone so suddenly. Please keep Holly, Crosby, and myself in your thoughts as we adjust to life without our girl. She will be missed dearly.

I never once looked at Lucy and thought she might be having a bad time. She will be missed.

Holly and Barrett, we are so sorry for your loss. Lucy had the best smile from a dog I have ever known. She had so much style and attitude. She was badass, funny, smart, cool, and loving all wrapped up in one. We will miss her always.

If Lucy had been a person she is who I would want to be when I grow up.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I lost my own sweet girl Dallas this morning. I'd like to think that somewhere up in Heaven Lucy and Dallas might meet up and soon will be prancing around the clouds together.

Lucy was the one constant in my life for the past 13 years. I got her when I was 20-what did I know at 20 (except how to pick a good dog)? I wish I had a penny for every stupid thing she saw me do, but she never judged me. I owe her more than I could ever have given her for being the best that she could be to me everyday. I deeply appreciate the kind words that her friends have posted. She was loved by many people- many people who sat on the floor while she hogged the best seat on the couch.
