To our beloved Dufus until I met you I had never been peeped on, pooped on or drooled on. When I first saw you, you were trying to chew your way out of the metal cage at the pet store at that moment you tugged at my heart. And you came home with me and you became "Dufus". The whole family cherished and enjoyed you for 9 years. Dufus wasn't the easiest puppy to have around but I wouldn't trade those years for anything. I remember all those days coming home from work and you were using the couch and my shoes as a chew toy. Those times I didn't take you with me and I would come home to a puddle of pee. I will never forget how jealous you were if I held a baby or showed anyone attention other than you. And how you snored so loud I would have to turn the T.V. up. And how you would play with your basketball for hours and hours. You were so talented a devil one day and a precious angel the next. You had more personality than some people I know. You will forever be in my heart and I will miss you each and everyday. But I know you are in peace now and I'll see you again someday. You were the most loveable, faithful, and fun-loving dog. There was never a dull moment around you. I miss you & I will love you forever!

Personal Notes

So many thanks goes to my wonderful and loving Mom and Dad for doing anything and everything they could do to get Dufus back to good health. But it was just simply his time to go to Heaven. I know he is looking down and thanking them now as he rolls his basketball around or eats on a pig ear which was one of his many favorite treats!
