Oso, you always seemed like a much littler dog trapped in a big, tough-looking tall body. The way you would trounce Chunk, back when you were kids, would send him tumbling into the brush. But on the other hand, you would carry the biggest sticks -- logs -- through the woods. Moses couldn't throw them far enough for you.

You had the deepest sweetest eyes, and they were always asking for a little love.

you were frightened of the kitten and wouldn't come downstairs for marathon hours, eventually peeing down the staircase. now, that's fear.

you helped raise two amazing human kids, and gave up your central place in everyone's attention. It was Your Pack.

Personal Notes

We loved you Oso! We have such fond memories of you coming to Long Island for the Holidays & I have a picture of you & Sammie when she was a puppy, you have your leash on & Sammie has the end of it in your mouth...too sweet! Sammie loved when you came to visit. You were such a sweet animal, you are in paradise now with all the creatures that have passed on in our lives. We will all be together again some day. Love & Peace.....

You were the best GrandDog a Gramma could have. You would wag your tail so hard when I came to visit you could hardly walk to greet me. Then you would put your paws up on my shoulders and give me a kiss.

I will miss you.

I had my concerns about a new baby and this big dog, but Oso won me over. No dog could have been better with my Grandchildren than this wonderful animal. When they bugged him, he licked them away to the point that Jyasi started to lick family members too. You will be missed.
