We lost our dear sweet little Paddles on July 3, 2006. He will forever be remembered as the happy little dog with the funny walk that earned him his name. He was so full of personality. Everyone who met him loved him. He will be forever sadly missed and loved by all the lives he touched and all those who knew him. His fellow Pomeranian buddy Leo grieves for him and misses him too. His life was cut all too short and he is and was so very much loved.

We miss you so much and there will always be a void nothing else can fill. Everyday there is something to remind of us you. The way you stared in the mirror and danced when you needed outside and ran around with your tail down when you wanted to play - all those memories and many more will be forever etched in our memory. When you came into our lives just a short six and a half years ago, never would we know the impact you would have on us. Every day will get a little easier I'm sure but the reason and question of why - we will never know. We'll see you again someday little guy.
Our hearts are broken. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.

Rainbow Bridge Poem...

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Personal Notes

I just loved this little fellow. He was so sweet & funny! All that was missing was a little clown suit! I am so sorry for your loss Mom & Bill. These loving, kind, sweet creatures make a forever impact on our lives no matter how long they are with us. Often times, it is too short. It is never easy. But, we will never forget how much joy and love they gave us. And, yes, I do believe we will rejoin with them again.

Love you, Amy
