Butterscotch was my soul mate kittie , he came into my life 16 years ago as a stray and quickly became my love. He was smart, lovng and enjoyed people. He loved sitting outside on mom's lap in the sun, being carried to the mailbox (where all the neighbors would come out and talk to him) but most of all he loved sitting in the window, watching all the squirrels, birds and wildlife that went by. He was always into mischief, getting into drawers, and spreading things all over the house. He learned people would talk to him if he pushed the play button on the answering machine. The orange monster nickname came from his vet who couldn't understand how a beautiful loving cat could turn evil and hiss spit and scratch during office visits. Butterscotch was many wonderful things, but most of all he was always there for me through good and bad. He was diagnosed with CRF about two years ago but was doing very well until that fateful morning in May when he cried out and fell over. He died in my arms. My beautiful cat is now God's angel and is home again. I miss him terribly and will wait until we meet again. His ashes are buried on the side of our house. My orange moneter you are with our heavenly father now but will never be gone from my heart. I will love you always. Mom
