Butchi came to me after I visited the pound looking for a cute little dog. The staff told me they had a small dog, but it was a bit snappy and not real friendly. I wnet to take a look and Butchi came walking out of his cage with a little growl. I decided later that day that I would give it a shot with him. That was the last time I ever heard him growl at me. He and I were nearly inseperable, we even watched Sports Center together. This dog was full of attitude. He would actually huff at you if he did not approve of what you were doing. Butchi became one of my closest friends. He went thru my divorce with me, never leaving my side. One day, while we were still living alone, he was eating and came into the computer room choking on some meat I had given him. I grabbed him and performed the Hiemlich manuver and it worked! I saved his life once, he saved my life numberous times by being Butchidog. I miss him more than anything. I hope he knows that I love him more than life itself.
