G.Q. was born on September 23, 1994. Brian bought her from a breeder for $50. She was the result of an unplanned pregnancy. G.Q. was the best "accident" ever! She was a wonderful puppy. The only thing G.Q. ever destroyed in her life was a Yankee's cap which was probably not a coincidence. Brian and G.Q. went through a lot together including countless moves. I met Brian and G.Q. during my first year of teaching in 1998. I'll never forget my first encounter with G.Q at 4 years of age. I was sitting on the couch and she tried to crawl into my lap. At 65 plus lbs. that was no easy feat! G.G. (as I called her) wanted to be a lap dog from then on. It was love at first sight for the both of us. G.G. was such a sweet and caring dog and was loved by everyone who was blessed to have known her. We are so fortunate to have loved & been loved by the best dog ever! G.G. made us into a family and was the most precious baby we could have had. She was a loyal companion and protector. In all of the years that she was with us we were never surprised by a doorbell or unexpected visitor. She truly was an exceptional dog and like none other. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. G.G.'s ever wagging tail, amazingly soft ears, and kisses will never be forgotten. Her tail possesed so much strength that it was known to knock over plant stands and full beverages. It never stopped wagging, especially when greeting us. We can't even begin to thank her for all of the happiness that she brought into our lives. We will always keep the precious memory of her close to our hearts throughout the rest of our lives. She brought out the best in us with her unconditional love and the world was a much brighter place because she was in it. G.G. was diagnosed with terminal cancer on Tuesday, June 20th and passed away later that night. Thankfully we were with her during her final moments. It is unbelievably quiet at our house without the pitter-patter of her feet, jingle of her collar, and thumping of her tail. We miss her terribly but we know that she is in a much better place. She was and always will be our baby girl! Gone but not forgotten Although we are apart Your spirit lives within us Forever in our hearts.
