We sadly lost our precious Morris today after a rapid decline due to cancer of the liver. I cannot believe that 3 weeks ago you were jumping on the sides in the kitchen up to your usual tricks, stealing chicken and pork chops! What can I say, he so loved my family unconditionally and anyone else who met him! Rescued as a kitten with cat flu and then a bowel condition at 8 years resulting in major surgery, he had 9 lives twice over! You were our baby and we loved you so dearly. You gave so much pleasure to us, hugged us, kicked us with your paws to make sure we knew you were there, jumped on our feet from under the bed, hid from us when you had to go to the vet and when we were going on holiday and had to go in the car. So many hearts you won, your constant purr right up to the end and those gorgoeous stripes and eyes, it was enough, everyone fell head over heels. We feel lost and lonely without you tonight but even that you got right, for today is Midsummer's Eve a special day for a very special cat, we will always remember you in our hearts and our minds. I hope that you know that we loved you so, that today was the hardest day we ever knew. But we did what we believed was to be right, time to say to you goodnight, sleep tight!
