I think Tana's happiest place on earth was on the trails pulling a sled.  By the time she came to us, that phase of her life was over, but not forgotten.  Although her young life was hard, she still kept her faith in people.  She would do most anything to get a belly rub and she had a kiss for everyone.  She may be gone, but she will live on forever on our hearts.

Personal Notes

Montana,Tanabanana,Tana, was my girl before coming to Mira,Jay and mikey.Tana was an incredible sleddog, always did what was asked of her when in harness and was one of the very few siberians that could be walked without a leash.Before she came to me she was fearful of fast movements of hands and feet and could barely eat do to malnutrition.She was terrified of young children.Time and love and reassurance changed all that

Tana let me know she didnt want to pull anymore.I took her out one last timeandthendecided based on that day that it was time i found a home for her

Mira had spent a short time with another retired dog of mine ,CRYSTAL, and i knew her family home was the perfect place for tana-banana.She spent the rest of her life happy as a family dog, going fishing,hiking and keeping an eye on Mikey which was an amazing change for her,considering her past

She will always remain my baby-girl in my heart as a treasured memory she will not be forgotten

Montana,my beloved, be well and happy where ever you are
