When Olivia first got him he was a biting spunky pig. She and her family tamed him and he was a very sweet and loving pig. We decided Chucky needed a friend so we got a female pig which we call Daisy. They fell in love and had babies twice (the babies only lived during the second birth). Chucky grew older and became more a part of the family. We decided to let someone else enjoy the babies and put them up for adoption because we didn't have enough room for a larger family. Recently, Daisy seemed lonesome and we thought since we now had the space for 2 more guinea pigs we would add two females. We think Chucky liked the new pigs which we named Sassy and Amber. We hope he was happy because he made us very happy and was very loved. When we noticed he was not acting like himself we took him to the vet and he was given antibiotics and fluids. An x-ray showed he had pheumonia. We knew we were losing him this evening and brought him up to the family room so we could give him attention and say goodbye. We all said goodbye, rocked him, cryed over him, talked to him, loved him, and finally lay him back down to rest. He passed on quietly just about half an hour later. We will miss our friend Chucky who was unique and very special to us. We hope he is enjoying a beautiful garden in heaven where he belongs. Thank you for being a part of our family Chucky.
