Cocoa was adopted 3 years ago. Basically she was rescued and she very quickly became an invaluable member of our home. She was shy at first but soon she learned that she was welcome to share our bed with us. I will always cherish the memory of her being our footrest while we slept. Cocoa was my constant driving companion on around town errands and she NEVER, EVER, misbehaved. I pray that IF there is a heaven I will one day see her again. Cocoa was very special. She was very emotional and always greeted us at the door with yelping excitement, wanting to be rubbed on the belly. My beloved pet became very ill suddenly and after surgery she died. When my wife and I saw her before surgery she was laying on her side in that cold cage and unresponsive. When she saw me she struggled to sit up and raise her head. At that time I kissed her face and looked into her eyes and told her again that I loved her very much and that she was a good dog. I did not realize that was the last time I would see her alive and now I believe she waited until our return to say good-bye. My tears flow freely over my beloved Cocoa and I hope my prayers for her kind spirit will be answered for if any dog ever deserved to go to heaven, it is her. Cocoa, your daddy and mommy still love you and miss you. Thank you so very much for being a part of our life. I hope you know that we always tried to take good care of you. Daddy
