Buddy was such a character.  He would always get loose and chase the neighbors chickens, never harming them of course cause he was such a gentle guy for a boxer.  He loved to play with his sqweeky newspaper.  He loved his bonies and was so smart.  He could sit, sit pretty, lay down, speak, play dead, shake paws, box, he even went to each person in my family if you told him their name.  He loved to sit up in my Dad's lazyboy like a human.  His face was so expressive with his little floppy ears and wrinkles.  Sometimes it really seemed as if he was smiling.  When I went away to college he literally had tears coming from his eyes, and even afterwards he would talk to me on the phone.  I have never met another dog like my Buddy, and I will miss him so much as will all of my family.  We love you Buddy.
