Baer, so many memories we couldn't begin to list them all. You started out as our only child-afraid of most things-your early life must not have been good. I am so glad we decided to keep you! You turned into a wonderful friend. We brought you everywhere-you were even kind enough to warm my seat in the car with your body when I would go into a store, sometimes not wanting to give it up when I returned. You were the ring-bearer in our wedding, our constant friend and companion. Your odd little habits, crossing your front legs when you were lying down, burping after you would eat or drink, only barking at visitors who knocked, (if they didn't knock, you quietly let them in) all of these things made up the great dog that you were. Even as your status in our household changed as the three kids were born, you never complained. You knew that you were loved, and were ok with not being top dog anymore. You were great with the kids, they could feed you, hug you, kiss you etc and you just lay there and let them.YOu were always counted as part of the family (which only has 2 boys and 3 girls now without you)
Letting you go when you got sick was the hardest thing I have ever done, even though we knew it was for the best. You will be so missed, and never replaced! We Love you Baer and hope to see you again someday.
