Ebony was born in my son Sean's closet. He was one of five kittens born to our cat Midnight. We were very happy he was the one we kept. We also have a 15-year-old cat, Tempo, and a dog, Sheba. They all traveled with us when we drove from Colorado to Florida to move here. Ebony was the youngest, so it is very unfair that he was taken from us so soon. He was hit by a car on the main road near our house. We were very surprised that he was so far from home. He loved it here in Florida. He liked to lie around the yard in the sun. He was a huge, fluffy, fat black cat. He was the sweetest cat ever. He always brought a smile to our faces. We loved him very much and we will miss him very much.

Mullins Family, I am so sorry to here about Ebony. Loss like this is such heartbreaker. I had a puppy once that was run over and I got through it thinking about how he is in Heaven and that we will be together again someday. Please know that Gizzy and I will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. We love you. -VG

Dear Teresa, Steve, Alana, Sean, Tempo, Midnight, and Sheba: Uncle Gary, Brendan & I were so sad to hear about Ebony! We know how it feels to lose a pet. Always know that you have the wonderfuol memories of Ebony and you will always remember him, maybe he and Simba are friends in pet heaven:) Brendan and I pray for Simba every night and will now pray for Ebony too. We love you all!

Your aunt Annette shared the unfortunate news about Ebony with me. She thought your family could use all of the prayers and support possible, as she shares your grief. I am sorry for your loss, I know that if love could have saved Ebony, she would have lived forever. May you find comfort in knowing that God takes each cat gently into his arms, and places them on the lap of an angel.
