Casper was mischievious from the start. We accepted him into our lives, I could'nt turn him away.It took our 2 other cats a while to adjust to Casper, and eventually, they did.Casper proved to be the "king" of the castle in no time, ordering the other 2 around, and establishing himself as the dominant one.He made sure everyone was kept on their toes at all times, whether it be chasing the others,or swatting them as they walked by.Casper had spirit in everything he did.He was a curious soul, who had to jump on the stove and burn his feet, had to crawl into the fireplace, and come out all black,(he was a white cat),and just had to stick his head in the empty kleenex box, just to see if he could fit in.So many memories of him.As the other two cats passed onto rainbow bridge,Molly, was Caspers last companion.Molly, always a small, delicate girl,Casper was in love with her from the get go.I know she will miss him greatly.I saw Casper a few days ago, sick from his cancer, not the buoyant soul he once was.My heart broke that day, because i knew even as spirited as he was,the cancer would take him from us,overtake him, something he couldnt fight.Something even more dominant then Casper could have ever been. How i hated to make that final decision,to play god.But i could see what the cancer was doing to him,and i hated that more. The decision made,Casper went to sleep.I still can't believe he is gone, but everytime i think about him,I see him whole and well, not thin and dying from a cancer that had no mercy.God Bless you Casper,we miss you,and can't wait to see you again.Hope you're having fun with Biffy and Buzz, they've missed you too..
