Matti is just wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a more loving and caring friend. She's my best friend and I'll never forget that. She's been with me at my very worst to take care of me and help me through it... I consider her my guardian angel. She was there for me in a way that no one else could be and that's when I knew that God had sent her to me, to watch over me, protect me, care for me and love me. I was so lucky. My favorite memory with Matti was during the summer when we'd go to the beach. We always went to Jenness Beach in Rye. As we walked up and the beach she'd be running around me like a crazy woman wanting me to throw her stick. Once we got to the end of the beach where it was all rocks and shells I'd collect the shells and she'd stiff them out for me. I always called her Don Quijote or Donny Q when we were climbing throught the rockes to look for shells. I don't have a clue why, I just did. On our ride home from the beach, she was usually very tired, but I'd always stop at this little hot dog shack and get us each a hot dog. Oh man, did she love her hot dogs! Those are very special memories, we had the best times together.
