GARY THE BIG GIRL, WHO IS GONE
In a little town named Rancho where the sun sets low,
Lived a cat named Gary, with a gentle soul.
She roamed through our home, never danced in the rain,
But now she's gone, and it's causing such pain.
Oh Gary, sweet Gary, with eyes so bright,
You were our beacon in the darkest of night.
You moved with us, in every stride,
Now you're gone, and a part of us died.
From house to house, it was always your home,
A furry companion, we were never alone.
You loved your mom & dad and your brother Paul,
Your purrs and meows, oh how we wish, your name to call.
Oh Gary, sweet Gary, with fur so fine,
You were a constant— in a world of decline.
Now we mourn, in silent prayer,
For the love we shared, beyond compare.
Eighteen years, a lifetime it seems,
But in our hearts, you'll forever gleam.
Your memory stays, like a flickering flame,
In the corners of our minds, you'll always remain.
Oh Gary, sweet Gary, now you're gone,
But your spirit lingers, like the morning dawn.
Though tears may fall, and hearts may ache,
Your love endures, no bond can break.
In the quiet moments, we hear your purr,
And feel your presence, gentle and pure.
Goodbye, dear friend, may you rest in peace,
Until we meet again, our sadness/sorrows won’t ever cease.
We miss you daily, but know your with the Lord
Storm and Artie miss you, but not having you here is so hard.
