It is with deepest sorrow that we announce Roger has crossed the rainbow bridge this past 11th May 2024, surrounded by his family.
Roger "Furderer" was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on 11th November 2018 to Mischa (c/o) Penny Moore.
Roger came home to his forever family in January of 2019. He fit right in and became the youngest member of the family. we feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have had him in our lives for an amazing five and a half years. He became Sophia, Bobby , David Jr and Bianca’s faithful companion and gave them comfort when they needed it.
He had other pet siblings: Birds (Louie and Pablo), Bunnies, Guinea Pigs and Gecko. Roger enjoys smaller dog breeds and immediately want to be their buddy.
He had a lot of best friends who were always happy to have him around: Ralff, Kuzco, Jasper, Chester, Rio, Maizly, Honey, Boba, Burger, Marty, Luna, Kato, Axel, Mocha, Ellie etc.
Roger had a great taste in food as he was picky when it comes to food brand and only want one kind. For treats however, he will eat anything he can get his paws or his mouth on.
Roger had a sweet-loving personality but often times got into mischief, notably his expertness in counter surfing was his famous skill. He would get his paws on anything and everything that tasted good.
Roger frequented the Carecor office in Halifax when he used to join in-office work day. He was the life of the office party. His best office mates were Alicia and Damilola but he had a special bond with Rachel as he gets treats all the time from her. Roger has welcomed hundreds of people that walked through the door many of which were fond of him.
He would pop up in the office meetings and would sit beside his people making sure they were well guarded. He enjoyed long walks and loved playing in the snow. He really liked car rides and road trips but was not a fan of lakes or the ocean.
Roger had a purpose, he was brought on this planet to bring joy to people he met and he did exactly just that. He had given love more than his own life's worth. He was loyal, smart, loving, funny, cheeky and one hell of a thief. He stole our hearts. although we will never get it back he will always live on in our memories. Roger was a true friend, someone who would look at you with loving eyes and see only your perfection. He was someone you can rely on, who would sit with you when you are sad. Who was always excited and happy to see you regardless of the amount of time passed. He was always there. Roger was the best dog! We can never repay him for the amount of love and devotion he had given us.
Roger was 5 years and 6 months at the time of his passing.
Gone too soon.
"We will never know the value of something or someone until they're gone"
He will be missed by a lot of people and other pets who had gotten to know him.
Until we see you again Rog. Who's a good boy?! Yes, you are.
Please remember Roger when you smile.
