Orion came into my life as a rehome. I did not really want a dog but he would stare at me through the sliding glass door for hours so I introduced myself by taking over feeding him at dinner time. At first he was very timid and even a bit aggressive. Finally I had made the decision to keep him so the first test was to see if he wanted to stay. I had let him out into the front yard where he had free reign to run. He did not go far, infact he peed on my foot and then sat on it, almost like he was saying you're mine forever, I'm not going anywhere without you..... For ten years he stayed by my side and went everywhere with me.
