Lex was a very special little Dutch bunny! We adopted him in late April at the vet clinic where I work, because his owner was going to put him to sleep just because he had bad teeth maclussion and could not get his teeth trimmed! My vet adopted him and help remove his front incisors to make it better for him. I then adopted him to give him a great home with my other bunnies! He was doing so find, then one day he was not eating much and got worse! My vet sented me to the Universary Vet Hospital to get me answers and they trimmed the back molars, which were very bad maclussioned also. He did very well for 3 weeks and then it started again and he now was losing weight. We found out he had infection on both sides of his molars and findly decided it was time to put him to sleep! He was very brave and he licked my face before we put him to sleep! My vet said it would take about 5 minutes to work, but it only took about 1 minute. I cried my heart out, because he was very special and different then thee other bunnies! I only had him for 3 months, but loved him and gave him that extra special 3 months to live here!! I will miss him so much and for my grief, as a artist I painted my special urn box of him on all sides with him on it when I get his ashes back to put in! I hope to find another one just like him someday soon! I love you Lex and will miss you!!
