You were the nicest kitty. Paul says you were the twist-tie king. You were the best pal to Danny. You always made Sierra & Jake happy and stopped Jakie from crying. Andrea liked when you licked her hand when she pet you. You were always there for Andrea when she was sad. Cathie loved when you licked her ears. We hope you have a nice waterpark in Heaven. We will miss seeing you sleeping in a sunny spot. We will remember you forever.

Personal Notes

Grandpa Ronnie and I will always remember how sweet and quiet Hobbes was. He always greeted us with his "Meow, Meow." I liked to make sure the water in the bathtub was running at just the right speed for Hobbes. He was smart to figure out how to get fresh water. Also, he was very cute when he was drinking or getting some water on his paw. We are glad Hobbes enriched our lives, too, and that we can cherish happy memories of his cuddly presence.

Hobbes, you look like such a beautiful kitty. So sorry you had to leave you family who loved you. My Alexa left me last year in December so look for her up there. God Bless

Andrea's special song for Hobbes:

Dancing With The Angels - Monk & Neagle: Part I

Memories surround me
But sadness has found me
I'd do anything for more time
Never before has someone meant more
And I can't get you out of my mind
There is so much that I don't understand
But I know

You're dancing with the angels
Walking in new life
You're dancing with the angels
Heaven fills your eyes
Now that you're dancing with the angels

Dancing With The Angels - Monk & Neagle: Part II

You had love for your family …
Your heart will be heard
In your unspoken words
Through generations to come
There is so much that I don't understand
But I know You're dancing with the angels

We're only here for such a short time
So I'm gonna stand up
Shout out
And sing Hallelujah
One day I'll see you again

From a website about pets & Heaven:

The Bible says "all flesh shall see the salvation of God" and that "all the living things in creation - everything that lives in the air, and on the ground, and under the ground, and in the sea" will praise Yahweh and the Lamb". God has promised that He will restore all living things. Death as a whole will be annulled or abolished and the whole creation will be renewed. The resurrection will affect all celestial creatures and all terrestrial ones.

I will miss my friend Hobbes,he was one in a million, Hobbes was very chatty and as soon as you came in the door he had alot of things to tell you about, Hobbes loved to get attention and also to drink water from the tub faucet, but it had to be coming out at the right pressure, not to fast... otherwise he would run.
I will really miss him he was such a sweet kitty.

I was remembering today that it was such a thrill when Dan "earned" a pet as a 1st grader. It was always fun to "talk to" and pet such a dear, pretty cat whenever we visited the M. home. He was so funny to watch when he would play with a twist-tie, or dash up and down the steps. It surprised me when he would jump on the couch to check out the "grandma visitor" but he was always gentle in his manner, and never caused any problem. He will live forever in our hearts!
